💵BEST PURCHASES EVER: +25 Best Purchases That Increased The Quality Of My Life & Are Perfect For Christmas Shopping
The holidays are coming up & I thought you'd love some great Christmas gifts for yourself or loved ones.
So I've audited my home and found the top 25 things that have changed my life listed down below.
None of these are sponsored. These are picks I chose out myself without being influenced by brands.
And if you have some great purchases you like to share let me know! Would love to know what items have changed your life for the better. All right that's all! Enjoy the list below and make this year's Christmas one to remember!
BED: A bed tent / body pillow / weighted blanket / bed jet air conditioner
The bed tent is at the top of this list for a couple of big reasons: if you live with your parents and they come into your room unexpectedly when asleep, then a bed tent might be the solution for you. When I first found out about this I bought one immediately. Pricing may vary but mine cost $150 on Amazon. When you enter your bed, it reminds you of when you were a kid when you would build forts & use the blanket to protect yourself from monsters. Just me? Well alright then. And the funny thing is my Oura ring sleep scores are boomin. I wake up with more deep sleep minutes added because I don't get disturbed by minor ish. You can also use earplugs as well. But nothing disturbs you with this on. This one gets a seal of approval from ya boy.
Creator 4 arm stand & mount for electronics
This a recent purchase and I love the heck out of it. Makes ya feel like a creator. I have 2 of these, one for my bathroom and for my main office. I've been getting compliments from client interviews when they see my microphone hanging over my head. I guess it gives that professional radio host vibe. Which adds an advantage for landing jobs and clients.
Bidet & squatty potty
These two go hand in hand. I gift people bidets because they're not just amazing but life-changing. How can a $40 piece of plastic that washes your butthole change your life? Simple. You get fewer rashes down there, you spend less money on toilet paper, and it's easy to install and take it with you wherever you travel. You've been "Bidet Pilled." The squatty potty helps with your bowels by putting you in a squat position. People say ancestrally in our cavemen days we used to poop so this makes it more healthy for your colon. But who knows, it still works for me and may work for you.
Instant pot / air fryer / over sink dish dryer
For my kitchen area for food creation, I got to give props to instant pot and air fryers for making healthy eating a time saver. I just put in my whole grain pasta in an instant pot, set it for 25 minutes, and I don't have to be cautious looking over it to see if it'll burn or spill. These are relatively inexpensive. The instant pot cost $80 and the air fryer also costs under a hundred bucks. This along with an over-the-sink dish dryer makes me excited to enter my kitchen lol.
Water flosser with xylitol tabs
This water flosser saved my gums from periodontitis. The reason most people have gum disease is because they don't clean underneath their gums. With a proper water flosser and optional a gum stimulator, it does the job well. Along with some xylitol crystals mixed in, starves the bad bacteria while feeding the good bacteria.
Oura ring
Everyone in the bio-hacking health space talks about the Oura ring & here's my two cents as well haha. Oura rings cost around 350 bucks but now they recently added a monthly plan so you can pay 50 bucks a month if you're still living with your parents or don't have that much money. That's what I did. The reason these little rings get a good rap is because it tracks the hours you were actually asleep, the amount of time you were awake, deep sleep hours, REM sleep, daily step count, heart rate variability, and it tells you how ready you are for the day. This helps if you feel like doo doo on a lift day. Now you can see that oh wait your body isn't ready so now you can actually skip the gym if you don't feel great. Rest is important my friend for that is how the muscles grow.
Viome
This is a great service for people with gut issues and health problems. If you're like me, who also suffers from allergies and constant bloating, gas, and whatnot, this may solve that for you. This kit for under 200 bucks identifies what foods your gut microbiome needs. It does this by analyzing your poop (you have to send a sample through the mail) send it to their labs, and then they send you recommendations for which foods are superfoods and which to avoid. They also have a monthly subscription for personalized powders which I'm also on their plan for prebiotics. It helped with bloating & I poop on average two to three times a day (straight flex). Highly recommend.
Robo vacuum
I hopped on the robo vacuum trend and honestly, it's not really a lifesaver or something huge. It does save me time from vacuuming and compared to my old manual vacuum this robo dude can sweep underneath the couches where I've never cleaned it for in years. With a robot vacuum change your life? Probably not. But it is fun to have if you don't love to vacuum manually and if you have the money for a good one above $200 robo vacuum then go ahead and purchase (you do you). You should avoid the ones that look like a circle and go for the ones that are D-shaped since these can clean corners, unlike the circled ones.
LED strips for red lights at night & Bluetooth color-changing lightbulbs
At night the color of the light bulbs you have in your room determines the quality of your sleep. If you have light bulbs that are blazing white lights similar to the sun your eyes pick that up and think it's daytime, therefore, suppressing melatonin hormones and increasing serotonin hormones. All this means is that you won't feel sleepy and it will take you a longer time to fall asleep. The solution is you need to have dimmer lights and ideally a red light at night. And with these easily affordable $17 LED strips and Bluetooth light changing light bulbs you can easily change the color at night and set automations to change the color automatically during the daytime. So in the day, it changes to white and in the night, it changes to red. This trains your circadian rhythm which is your biological clock to perform optimally.
Bluetooth speaker
You can get it relatively inexpensive Bluetooth speaker on the market for less than 40 bucks now. And I've been loving mine that cost exactly 40 bucks for my home workouts pair this along with your music streaming app and you're golden. It makes working out fun along with my LED lights that also have a mode where it can dance to the music that's playing. So you turn your room into a rave and make working out more enjoyable. Liiiiiiiiit.
Parallettes / rings / foldable chin up bar / neck harness
The calisthenics setup. If you work from home you don't need to spend tons of money on specific workout equipment. All you need is four things: parallettes, rings, a chin-up bar for your door frame, and a place to work out. You can set up rings on the chin-up bard to hit incline chest press, ring chin-ups, and more. It's entirely possible to build muscle at home especially with rings because they train new muscles you never knew you had before. It forces you to use to stabilize which turns this into a compound exercise. You'll grow more muscle, burn more calories, and gives you reasons to eat more to pack on mass without worrying about fat accumulation.
Mini altar: tree waterfall / essential oil diffuser & pink salt light / statue of Jesus / artificial greenery
My mini altar (which I never even thought about it as an altar or knew what the f they were) is a small space in my office where it represents peace. I bought some artificial grass, artificial leaves, a mini waterfall that looks like a mountain, a marble statue of Jesus, and an essential oil humidifier with a pink salt lamp inside of it. Truth be told, this isn't really going to change your life or is that impressive but it is for me. Every time I go in my office I oftentimes get distracted by looking at my mini altar which may actually be a negative haha. But hey it looks aesthetic tho, so you do bro.
LG wing phone! w/popsocket wallet attachment
At the time of this writing, the LG Wing phone is no longer available in retail anymore... A real shame because this has been the best phone I have ever used in my life. It's so innovative! Just so recently I've learned about the history of LG phones and get this. They've been making new innovations to their phones with some phones that roll up, swivel up, and fold screens way before Samsung did it. I was lucky enough to get a retail version of the LG wing and if you haven't seen how it swivels up, look up LG Wing on YouTube. The swivel feature is the best. I be watching YouTube on the top screen while having my notion app at the bottom taking notes from that video... I don't know any other phone that does this. If you're ever lucky enough to get your hands on an LG wing, consider yourself fortunate.
Portable badminton set
A portable Batman set can be thought of as a unique selling point when trying to make friends or set up events with friends. When you ask to hang out with friends, having some sort of value proposition increases the likelihood of them hanging out with you. Of course, you can always just say hey bro let's chat and all of course but if you want to increase your chances of them saying yes. A portable Batman set is just one of many value propositions. Because it says hey let's try something new, we can do this anywhere, it's great for outdoor parks & costs under 50 bucks.
Canva Pro - Notion Personal pro plan - YouTube premium - Miro board - Amazon prime
I like to start out with notion first. Notion is great for creators, entrepreneurs, students operations people, and so much more. I use notion to write this letter every single month and I couldn't imagine a better app alternative in this. If I could upload my consciousness into notion I would, bet. This along with a Canva pro subscription YouTube premium, Miro board, and Amazon prime prescriptions, and life working from home has been improved dramatically.
Shower filter
A shower filter you can easily twist onto your shower head for under 30 bucks filters out fluoride and chlorine. Which are chemicals that disturb your natural hormone production. When you shower with hot water your pores open up and gives an easy way for the chlorine and other bad chemicals to enter into your immune system. All that can cause long-term health problems. Keep your skin healthy and get a shower filter for yourself or for a close loved one this Christmas.
Whiteboard roll for my door
You can get a giant whiteboard roll for less than 30 bucks on amazon. Coming from someone who used to buy dozens of mini-whiteboards, getting a giant white boy roll I can cut out into any shape saved me. I've since used a majority of it for my walls. The only problem is these aren't magnetic so you can't put your pens on them but nonetheless, I keep my pens in a cup to the side. Great for brainstorming ideas & catching new ideas quickly.
Bluetooth body weight & body fat scale
If you're also on the journey of getting big building muscle losing fat then a body fat and body weight scale may improve your journey. I used to log my body weight daily on a piece of paper but now with a Bluetooth scale, it automatically saves the data for the date, time, along with other measurement features like body fat percentage skeletal muscle subcutaneous fat, and more. All from stepping on the scale once. This allowed me to waste less time reviewing my past data flipping pages and manually logging my data every single morning. $30... No brainer.
Small treadmill
If you have been working from home it may get boring sitting or standing all day at your office. A small portable treadmill can not only help you get more work done but will also keep you active. The extra steps help you burn more calories and eat more food without feeling guilty of gaining fat. Just make sure to track calories tho. The one I have cost $400. It's a small incline treadmill by egofit. I use mine in my bathroom office so I can sweat and do maintenance business tasks.
Adhesive Velcro
This is great for turning your bathroom into a bat cave lol. I Velcro my hairbrush onto my wall along with my cables to create an easy cable management system and it makes it easy to grab right off the wall. Nothing special really but if you feel inclined go for it. You can get a small role for under 10 bucks.
Hands-free book stand
KNAAAWLEDGE! A bookstand with a book already opened to a page from the last time makes it easier to get in the habit of reading daily. Usually, when we see a book closed on the counter, we feel resistance and adds friction on days you don't feel like it. This makes you miss your goal of reading. But not with this book stand where you can have any book clipped onto this mechanism and let it be open to you while you read while doing something else like eating your food, washing the dishes, or something menial.
A good pair of Bluetooth earbuds
Good pair of Bluetooth earbuds that are easily accessible whenever you want to listen to something important in the background. My Bluetooth earbuds are wired around my neck but still Bluetooth wireless. So I can listen to educational videos on YouTube at 2x speed whenever I have to prepare my food, wash my dishes, or do something I wish could make time go faster.
A good ergonomic office reclining chair w/ mouse pad
If you're going to be sitting at your desk all day you need a good ergonomic chair that does not deteriorate your spine over the long run. Sitting all day can be a pain but if you have the right chair, it makes you more motivated to work from home because of it. This along with a mouse pad attachment is goated. I checked to see the listing of this chair but unfortunately, they aren't available anymore.
That's my list! Do you have any favorites from this list? What are some purchases that have improved your life? Let me know and if this list helped you out I hope you have a great Christmas this month, my friend
🍏 NO RELAPSE NOVEMBER RESULTS: How To Finally Quit That Bad Habit Once & For All
So I tried no nut November & gave in the same night. Let me explain...
This was years ago but still relevant to what I see today.
We've been taught with all the YouTube nofap videos that you should count the days consecutively and if you miss one day then you're off to the gulag.
If this works for you great! Continue doing it!
But if not and this hasn't worked for you like it hasn't worked for me, then I like to share with you a new approach or two that may finally help you overcome your urges.
I don't know if these will work for you. You gotta try em out yourself bro. Give yourself enough time to try out both and to their full potential (you can also use these techniques for other addictions you may be facing).
- The first approach is the one that is mainstream called the consecutive day approach.
The problem with this consecutive day approach is that it assumes that if you give in just for one day you lose all progress. Which is complete nonsense. If you go 10 days of no relapsing consecutively when you planned to do 90 days, you still made PROGRESS!
The consecutive day approach could lead to some negative outcomes in the long run. And you know the vibe over here, we like to do approaches that are healthy both in the short & long term.
As a young athletic male who works out heavy you know your boy gets a ton of intense urges which sometimes, you just can't stick with it. To be fully real with you.
And the worst part is when you give in and try to restart the next day but the subconscious knows you're talking out of your ass. All to then give in the next day and then the next day and so on.
So it wasn't until I found a new approach that has been working out soo much better improving my mental health. It seems to be like a good long-term healthy approach to controlling your urges.
This new approach is what I like to call the accumulative day approach.
How this works is let's say you planned to do 90 days no relapsing in this accumulative approach. This would mean if you go to day 35 and give in, the next day you would start at day 35 again.
You can also pair this approach with the "everyday is day 1" frame.
What this means is that every single day you don't give in is still day 1 and every day you do give in it's still day 1. so you're now experiencing the benefits of each and every day. Because check this out: there are extreme benefits from just not giving in for one day. Let's be real, if you manage to not give in until the 75th day, nothing magical happens. it's the exact same feeling you're going to get if you accomplish day 1. You can give yourself the same feeling of accomplishment right now by completing the day. It's the same feeling the feeling of accomplishment and sure you can say "oh no but I'm going to get a bigger dopamine Spike for day 75 because I worked harder." And you are probably right. It does take longer and you may experience a slight increase. But a slight increase at best. However, this framework teaches you to love yourself for completing the day. Take it day by day & see how It goes.
Side Note: I personally don't care about NNN. I care about long-term lifestyle changes I can stick with daily. You gotta understand that for society, challenges like these give inspiration for someone to change their life who's just starting out. That's amazing. I applaud those people. But once you graduated from that self-improvement beginner phase, you now realize it's best to make lifestyle long-term changes you can easily stick with. Who knows if 40 days is the keystone number that change will happen! it could be 75 days, it could be 90, it could be 1000 days like my boy IamLucid. Who knows! but what we do know is that and once we focus down on making today a success, we treat every single day with the same intensity.
WHY IS RELAPSING UNHEALTHY IN THE FIRST PLACE?
I don't relapse because it drains so much dopamine from my system which leaves me drained the next couple of days. Not for some religious reasons or for whatever, but just logical reasons. if you do X you get Y result. If you continue to deplete your dopamine sensors you will feel like s*** & rewire your baseline level of happiness at such a high point, you will lose the pure joy of looking at simple everyday things around you.
You should try to get to a point in your life where nofap isn't even on your mind anymore. Like you just live in your life and you know that urges don't control you where even the slight thought of watching XXX should make you sick to your stomach. But if you're not at this stage yet don't worry bro, it's okay! It takes time.
These aren't the only two ways of eliminating your addiction. There are HUNDREDS out there I bet you could find that may work better than the ones listed above! But remember to always keep experimenting & don't settle. Because the alternative is living a life being addicted to unhealthy habits which prevent you from living up to your Highest Potential. Every time you give in, you're making a choice to sacrifice your goals for short-term pleasure. No bueno!
So... did you make it through November successfully?? Huh huh? Loooool. All good either way.
That's it I hope you have a great December going forward with these new frameworks and remember...
Progress is progress.
🌟BITE-SIZED WISDOM: Lessons Learned Last Month
These are Big Ideas In Bite-Sized Pieces. These mini topics could become main topics in the future with more content added if you like. Just DM me, let me know, & if enough people want it I'll deliver! NOTE: Whenever I give credit to someone, it does not mean I endorse their worldviews 100% now or later. I just agreed with what they had to say at this moment in time. I think you'll find value in it as I did. Ok, now that I protected myself from cancel culture, let's get it into it!
🌟EGO EVOLUTION THEORY: November Updates
- NEW NAME - old name: Mental Health Development" new name: "Ego Evolution"
- FINALIZED MODEL (Attached at the end of this letter!)
- CAUSES, LONG TERM CONSEQUENCES & SOLUTIONS
- HEALTHY MASCULINE & HEALTHY FEMININE TRAITS
"What happens now that you know this knowledge only the top 0.1% of the world knows?"
My goal with creating this model is to help give your perspective in human nature. It's to show you that not everyone is at the same consciousness level as you. This theory shows you the causes & solutions so you can help other people change their lives. Changing someone's life is one of the most fulfilling things you can do in yours. This is just one map that helps you get 1% closer to that goal.
Heading into 2022 with this knowledge puts you in the top 0.1% in the world so far ahead of everyone else. Be humble with this responsibility. Tape the model on the back of this letter onto your bathroom wall like I have if you want to. Look at it daily along with your protagonist sheet & watch how 2022 will become the best year of your life.
💵AGENCY JOURNEY: Going From $0 To $100,000/mo: November Logs & Lessons Learned
HIGHS:
- 1 new $400 project
LOWS:
- 14 proposals didn't land
LESSONS LEARNED:
- 💵Get good at strategy & consultation, not doing the actual work. Robots and software is getting more and more automated. This means less work will be available for creation but not for the knowledgeable. Source: https://youtu.be/Jusu0ujIyZM
- 💵Upwork project tip: Don't propose for the project in total, choose the milestone option of 50% down 1 week from the proposal date & 25% 25% the ending weeks. This way you aren't waiting +1 month to get paid.
- 💵S.A.L.E.S. = Serve. Ask. Listen. Empathize. Summarize.
- 💵If you don't have tons of experience to put into a portfolio, consider creating an inspiration catalog. I'll give you an example, when you go to a barber they'll show you pictures of various haircuts that you can choose from. Let me ask you this question: do you think that retail Barber cut all those people's hair? Most likely not. You don't care if that specific Barber cut all those hairs, all you care about is if the barber gives you the haircut that you want. The same if you create designs. When you talk to potential clients, just send them over this PDF and it could be a swipe file. When you're out and about living life on social media and you see a design you like, take a screenshot, document it, and insert it inside your inspiration catalog. Once you have over 10 designs in it feel free to organize it polish it and publish it. But you must make sure at the beginning of the catalog you disclose that you do not claim ownership of any of these designs. And these screenshots are from other businesses you find inspiring. Give this method a shot let me know how it goes!
🌟TikTok Content Creation Tips
I started a TikTok for Posimistic. I highly recommend you DO NOT follow me yet. I'm posting straight cringe at the moment but it seems to be working lol. I'm still in my infancy stage of learning what type of content sticks to the wall. You'll also have an infancy stage when you decide to create content on TT. I give or take 90 days of just posting random s*** to see what works for you. But in the meantime, I've been learning new tips on creating content on that platform. Here they are below:
- The highest shared content are the ones that have lots of twists. No longer just including one twist. Soon movies will have more than one twist.
- Tips for creating content on TikTok: create a series. You'll get burned out if you have to try to think of something new every day.
- Create alter egos & characters. If you have fears of getting criticized, this will work for you...
- Shares & watch time are the main thing to focus on for growth.
- Do things that don't make sense if you want attention -Gary Vee
- Give a strong hook. Great creators are the ones who give the quick 3-second hook. Numbers and simplicity work. MrBeast is a master at this.

🌟An Observation On How To Treat God Well & Why Some Prayers Don't Get Answered
The reason God hasn't been answering your prayers is because you treat him like a fake friend. You only go to him when you need something. How would you feel if someone only came to you when they needed something? You'd stop hanging out with them. But here's the thing: God no matter how much dirt you give you or treat him like that, he still shows up every day for you. Waiting for you to answer the door. Still optimistic that maybe this is the day you let him in. Because as soon as you do, he's going to change your life. The solution to all this? Catch up with God daily, give thanks without expectations, & quiet the ego.
