Welcome To August, King 🍂
I read a quote last month that reminded me why I started creating these letters:
"No parent wishes for a weak son. No woman wishes for a weak man. No child wishes for a weak dad. Live up to your duty and get stronger."
Love to hear it! Delete the past conditioning! Get stronger, Get Wealthier, & Get to it! When you improve, so does the world. Every time you say NO to cheap urges & say YES to improving yourself, you're living up to your duty! And I'm proud of you for that! Hope you had a great July! Let's bless your dopamine sensors with a new Posimistic Letter! LET'S GET IT!!

🌟MENTAL HEALTH DEVELOPMENT PT.2: How To Help Your Loved Ones Awaken & Reach Their Highest Potential
For new subscribers who don't know the model I created, here is the introductory thread: https://twitter.com/ElvisPosimistic/status/1417261860919812123?s=19 Here are all the updates to this model that happened in July! By far my biggest set of changes out of any month that I'm proud to share with you! Please don't skip over this topic. The sooner you learn about this, the better your social life will improve! 🙏
UPDATES:
- Stage colors - This time around I decided to go back and add colors to each stage. You'll notice that each stage color is a combination of the spiral dynamics colors. Stage Purple is a combination of spiral dynamics stage Red & Blue. Stage Brown is a combination of Orange & Green. And Stage Green is a combination of Yellow & Turquoise.
- 'HOW THEY GROW' sections - I always wanted to include a section for how to ascend in each stage since day 1 of creating this model. I never had enough space to include it in a single page frame. It wasn't until I combined both males and females into one category (ILLUSTRATIONS) that I realized I now had this huge spot of white space that needed to be filled. And for a split second, I got the idea of including this 'How They Grow" section. Everything clicked. Doing this also made me realize I've written the previous versions of MHD as a complete asshole. I was completely unempathetic in my approach in including characteristics such as "Rude, Obnoxious, Arrogant, etc." That wasn't very cash money of me and I'm sorry. This new model is now empathetic as AF. When I was writing the bullet points for COMMON CHARACTERISTICS, I started tearing up. Learning about what stage Purple (suffering) has gone through. Sheesh. I hope you get this same sense of feeling when reading each bullet point in the model.
- Added quotes & bible verses - These are the icing on the cake! 🎂
- The target audience for this model is Stage Green (Succeeding) - The previous models weren't directed towards anyone. Choosing to direct this model towards people in stage green is the most responsible. These individuals don't judge & offer constructive criticism. I wish I would've written this aimed at them when I first got started creating this. Oh well, you live & you learn :)
Stage Purple (Suffering)
COMMON CHARACTERISTICS (UPDATED)
- Has been abused & treated poorly in the past
- Just wants somebody to love & to love them back
- Grew up with negative influences they had no control over
- Developed an addiction because they had no role model in mind
- Struggles to empathize because no one has empathized with them
- Accumulated unconscious anger & hate for those that caused them to suffer
HOW THEY GROW
What They Need To Do:
- Fulfill their "Physiological" & "Security" needs. Forgive those that caused them pain.
What You Can Do:
- Spread positive vibes when you talk with them
- Smile when you meet up. Make them feel like the most important person in the world.
- Offer them a nice gesture (EX: "Can I get you something to drink?")
- Share your story of how you overcame your addiction indirectly. Don't force your story if the time & place isn't right.
- Don't force them to do something positive. All you can do is show them what's possible & support them emotionally on their journey
- Be patient with their progress. Change can happen in a day or several decades. But you must never give up on them or lose hope.
“Forgive Them, For They Do Not Know What They Do.” (Luke 23:24)
"But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them." (1 John 2:11)
Stage Brown (Surviving)
COMMON CHARACTERISTICS (UPDATED)
- Were never taught to value themselves which results in feelings of insecurity & low self-esteem.
- Were taught To Value Materialism Over Intrinsic Values.
- Unmotivated & falsely self-diagnosed as depressed.
- Developed a victim mentality from the negative self-talk they've allowed to rule their mind.
- Unconsciously developed a sense of Entitlement from mainstream media programming.
HOW THEY GROW
What They Need To Do:
- Fulfill their "Love, Belonging, & "Esteem" Needs
What You Can Do:
- If they see you as an authority:
Motivate them to set goals, implement discipline, & more self-improvement principles. Be the role model they can look up to & inspire them to take action.
- If they don't see you as an authority:
Don't force change. Let them experience life. Some people don't want to win, they just want to be comfortable. Let them experience the consequences of their actions. Because it's only after we've lost everything we're free to do anything. Be patient with their progress. Change can happen in a day or several decades. But you must never give up on them or lose hope.
"The recognition of sin is the beginning of salvation.” (Martin Luther, 1546 AD)

💵THE LEVELS OF WEALTH: How To Work Towards & Achieve The Highest Level Of Wealth (& Avoid Losing It All)
Let me get this off my chest: There is nothing wrong with wanting to become a billionaire like society conditioned us to think! Billionaires aren't evil. Evil people are evil. This topic hits too close to home for me. A majority of my past friendships all either remained broke or got a little bit of bread but then ended up losing it in the end. As a reader of the Posimistic Letter, I consider you a close friend. And I don't want my close friends to lose. So it is in my power to do whatever it takes to help you create long-lasting wealth that will hopefully help you live an epic life.
Most people have tried to build another income stream in the past but ended up with failure. I'm willing to bet you also know some of these people as well. Tell me if this sounds familiar: They buy an expensive online course to learn Amazon FBA, Dropshipping, etc. They execute on all the steps inside but still remain at base one. They've bought into the hype of the infinite possibilities the guru told them all about. They've taken the action but the $10k/months still don't hit. What gives? Well, a lot of things could be off but I'm going to be focusing on the principles for this topic. I'm going to share with you my experiences with all these types of business ventures I've started along with some advice I've learned from other businessmen making money ethically. So you're not only getting my personal opinions but also time-tested & proven principles.
False Truths People Have About Money: Money is evil. The richest people in the world are evil & made their money unethically. It takes money to make money. You'll never become a millionaire because no one in your family tree has ever done so...."
These are all limiting beliefs. Every. Single. One. Where did they pick up these thoughts? Whose to say but I believe most of these come from their surroundings. These people grew up with scarcity-based behavior all around them. You can't blame them. They've asked their parents how to make more money but they didn't know how to (which results in the parents telling their children only what they knew). It also comes from their teachers, relatives, mainstream media, etc. Okay, we know where it comes from, now it's time to show you all the ways to build wealth.
P.s. Reasons Why Most People Die Without Getting Wealthy
- They lack discipline
- They don't provide value
- They were never taught better so they settle
- When life gave them an opportunity, they said "No"
- Their ego is programmed to keep them where they are at.
- (Least Common) They did everything they could but still didn't make it. Either because they suffered some extravagant event or died too soon.
There are 3 levels of building wealth: 1) LOSE/LOSE 2) WIN/LOSE 3) WIN/WIN. Let's go through each level to give you all the pros and cons starting with level 1.
LEVEL 1: LOSE/LOSE - You & the other party are worse off after completing the transaction
This level is simple & straightforward. I think we can all agree that no one wants to participate in this level. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I pray that you never have to create one of these transactions for other people. I'm going to show you the best ways at Level 3 but I just wanted to give you a quick overview of level 1 here below.
Examples:
- Robbing/theft - Doing quick robbery from banks, convenience stores, shops in general. You lose by either getting caught or by reducing your lifestyle to always be in hiding. The shop loses by getting their money/goods stolen.
- Telemarketing Scams - Calling people in vulnerable positions in life promising a solution but lying behind their backs. You lose by either getting caught or by reducing your lifestyle to always be in hiding. The person on the other line loses by getting their money stolen.
- Selling "Snake-Oil" - Selling products that promise to solve a problem but turns out it does not. You lose by getting caught or by reducing your lifestyle to always be in hiding & having to spend so much energy finding new customers. Your customers lose by losing money & still being in pain.
PROS
- You get a short sense of adrenaline - However, there are better ways to get a sense of adrenaline like skydiving, video games, outdoor hobbies, etc that don't get you to end up in jail.
- YOU GET MOLA BABY!!!!!!! 💸💰😎 - Yes, you may be able to get something to fake flex on your Instagram. However, it's short-lived & by a HUGE chance, you go to jail. This means you ain't do anyone any favors & now you're worse off. If you haven't got caught yet, you now live a life of devilry. You have to break laws, always be in hiding, & constantly planning the next score. This is not the way my friend.
CONS
- You provide no value to the other party & never hear from them again.
- You get thrown in jail for theft, scamming, & so forth
- Your reputation gets tarnished
- If you haven't been caught yet, you'll have to live a reduced lifestyle to constantly avoid the authorities.
- Your reduced lifestyle causes you to cause harm to everyone you meet (Your family is always stressed & worried. Your friends don't want to hang out with you anymore to avoid getting in trouble. Your security can easily be corrupted with a larger sum of money by your enemies.
LEVEL 2: WIN/LOSE - For you to gain something, the other party HAS TO lose something
This stage is pretty prevalent in today's society. Remember, none of these levels are good or bad, they just are. My hopes in showing you all these stages at once, you can get a birds-eye view of what's going on in the world. By doing this, you can know what type of transaction is taking place when the time comes. My take: Do whatever you can to always end up in a WIN/WIN+ scenario.
I'm not a big fan of these ventures but I do have to admit I've started here. My first few business ventures were all about Amazon FBA & Shopify Dropshipping. Being a 17-year-old broke boy, all I wanted to do was make money. That was all I can think about. I grew up in a lower-middle-class home & we lived in a sketchy neighborhood. My thinking process was "Let me just make enough money, not giving an F about the quality of the product, so I can make millions AND THEN become pure!!!!" Looking back at this way of thinking, it was no wonder why ya boy was always chasing the next shiny opportunity & with 0 sales.
Examples:
- Investing "To Sell" instead of "To Own" - I'm not a fan of investing in stocks/crypto for a couple of reasons.
- 1) If you have less than $10,000 to invest, it's not worth investing all of it into a stock. The returns aren't great enough to justify that high of a risk IMO. Some anomalies get in at the right time but it was based on luck, not a strategy everyone can follow (Ex: The DogeCoin Millionaire).
- 2) When someone makes money (Sells their position), that money is coming from other people's bank account. (For you to win, the other person loses).
- 3) You never know if the stock/crypto is rigged. The people who cash out big have an inner group chat that lets the other members know when the largest holders are about to sell. If you're in one of these group chats, you have an advantage. Although I'm personally staying away from all these types of investment options until I'm hitting $100k months & fully knowledgeable in the thing I'm investing in. But hey, it's just my opinion.
- 4) "When millions are buying to sell: bubble. When millions are buying to own: revolution." - Sahil Lavingia
- Overpricing low-value products & services - This one is straightforward. When you overcharge for your products or services, you get fewer repeat buyers. The question now becomes "what's the best price to price my service?" It depends. Research your competitors' prices. Browse their websites. Check the reviews. Infiltrate free FB groups & start curiously asking some members how to get started.
- Multi-level marketing (MLM) - The classic MLM! By some chance, I can take a guess & say you've encountered one of these if you grew up in a middle-class home. The biggest reason I stay away from this business is because there will always be a ginormous group of people who lose at the bottom. When you win, the next people you recruit will now have to find others who will then also have to recruit more. This chain never ends. They might think "Who cares if they lose, I still make my money" and I would say "Yo bro, you should. The people are the ones who make or break you. Having this 'You against the world' mindset will only hold you back." A majority of the recruiters don't care about their customers, they only care about their bottom line (Sound familiar to Stage Orange Spiral Dynamics?). Well, I say f all that. I'm NOT going to sell overpriced health supplements. I'm NOT going to shame people for being poor. I'm NOT going to participate in any of that low consciousness environment anymore. And instead, I'm going to do whatever it takes to create WIN-WIN businesses, even if it means I have to suffer at the beginning. This is the way, my friend.
- Reselling without adding value - Think of buying & reselling domains as an example. You buy a domain name at $12 that you think will be valuable in the future. And when the time comes & a buyer contacts you to buy that domain, you sell it for +$1000. The buyer is fully aware that you bought that domain name for a cheap price. Do you think he feels like he got a good deal from you? No value was created. Do you think he will want to do business with you again in the future?
- Most "low barrier to entry" businesses & adding no value - My journey started here. For the most part, think to yourself "If it's easy to get started, it's probably going to have TONS of competition." To give you an example, let's use Shopify Dropshipping. Anyone with a laptop, internet connection, & free time can start dropshipping. Those are all the requirements you need. Just 3. Because of this, almost anyone that hears about this model who doesn't know any other types of businesses starts here. Including me. In my teens, I created a total of 3 online dropshipping stores. They all failed. But really I was the one that failed dropshipping. All I wanted to do was make money so I didn't spend much time or money getting better photos, writing long-form copy, caring about the customer if they got a good product or not. Nope. From that, I've learned my lesson: Be customer-focused first. This is Amazon's number one rule at their company. They do whatever it takes to make the customer satisfied, even if it means they lose money in the short term (Because they know if they have their customer's trust they will come back & buy more). That's what I like to call Big Payday Energy or BPE for short lol.
PROS
- You leave with the other party's money
- Low barrier to entry
- Great for beginners (just make sure to add value & you'll be fine)
CONS
- Repeat customers are rare
- Constantly having to hunt for more new customers
- The other party loses
LEVEL 3: +WIN/WIN - After the transaction, you & the other party have gained something new!
Finally, the best stage to be at! This is where you will thrive the most IMO!
Examples:
- Physical Product Creation - Take a look around you. Everything in your home was most likely created & sold for a profit. Each item you see around you all started as an idea first. Your phone, chair, water bottle, phone charging cable, the paper you're reading this letter on. An entrepreneur created it. People no smarter than you. They just did whatever it took to get over the initial barrier we all face when creating a physical product. Hard to start? Yes. Worth It in the end? ABSOLUTELY!
- Providing A Useful Service - Got a great skillset you can sell as a service? If so, market it! If not, start experimenting & building some skill sets you know are in demand. Everyone's situation is different which is why I can't just list the best services to provide. I can however give you some great ideas that I've done in the past. Web Design, Copywriting, Digital Marketing, Content Creation & Management, Ghost Writing, Graphic Design, Programming & Coding, UI/UX, Email Marketing, Video Editing, Animating, & more. Those are some of the most in-demand online skills I can name right off the top of my head.
- Building A Traffic Source - Examples include Amazon with their ginormous catalog of products. They don't create the products, they create the marketplace for other people's products. Social Media apps are another good example of getting a ton of people in the door. Have you noticed all popular social media is free? They make their money by getting as many people as possible on their platform. That way they can show you ads that others companies pay them to run.
PROS
- Adds Value To The Marketplace (The world)
CONS
- High Barrier Of Entry
- Higher Risk, Higher Reward (Depends)
One Thing Is Clear...
Whatever path you take: Add Value To Everything You Do.
This is the main key I want you to take away. If you do, you will never be poor (like all the self-help books promise). You're also going to need to learn a high-income skill you can use to build wealth faster. I'm not anywhere near where I want to be yet with my finances but I know for a fact adding value won't make you poor. The size of the problems you solve determines the amount of money you make. So there you have it! I've now shown you what economics class never showed us because they thought it was too simple to share. Why bother showing others? Simple answer: ignorance. The people who commit the crimes don't know any better. The height of a man's success is determined by how deep his foundation is set. The deeper your build your knowledge base, the higher you can get. Let's wrap up this issue by giving you a colossal-sized foundation starter...
🌟SELF-HELP FOUNDATION: +77 Biggest & Best Ideas That Helped Me Enter "Stage Green - Succeeding"
I've read over 1,000 books, spent +$9,000 on courses, watched thousands of YouTube videos all about improving myself. I'm going to do my best to give you the biggest ideas I've learned so far that have shaped me into the man I am today. I'm a fan of how Brian Johnson categorizes wisdom so I took inspiration from him. Check out his content on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRhEwzsFYLGcMa4m2AbTAoA other than that, enjoy! :D
GOALS & PLANNING
- Create systems instead of goals
- Focus more on what you can do today rather than in 5 years
- Ready, Fire, Aim. Just get started on it even it isn't perfect.
- Create a stupidly simple baby step you can take daily
- It's ok that you don't know HOW you will achieve your goal yet, this feature of life was added in on purpose to allow you to discover it. Imagine if life already gave you the "HOW-TO-PLAN" for all your goals, you'd lose all interest in playing this game of life. Challenges give enjoyment.
- Progress is progress. Don't beat yourself up if you screw up a day, just get back on it tomorrow. But you must make sure you rarely go past 2 days of falling behind. The momentum you've built up almost always resets after 2 days.
- The ego sets ambitious goals but sets lousy deadlines. Use your ego to set these ridiculous big goals & let your unlimited potential inside you do the rest.
- Life is all about having goals & loving this moment. As much as you (really your ego) want to achieve all your goals instantly, It's best to truly love each moment on your way towards your goal. Notice the ego will bring up thoughts & feelings of lack, thinking "When I hit X, that will be the best day of my life, etc." This is a trap itself cannot see. The journey is more important than the destination. Love the process.
- Visualize your ideal daily routine. Write it down. Print it out & see it daily wherever you execute each task.
ACTION
- Consistency is 👑.
- Turn everything you touch into gold (Add value)
- Everyone tries to sell you the "get rich quick" solution. Avoid it. Go for the "get rich slow & steady." Your future self will thank you.
- "99% is a bitch. 100% is a breeze." -Brian Johnson. Fully commit to it. If you have a 99% commitment, then your mind can easily manipulate you to give in. Going 100% all-in leaves no room for negotiation. Give it a shot!
- Luck doesn't exist if you put in the effort. Don't worry about it. Same with the odds. "If I would've based my decisions on odds, I would've never been where I am today" -Logan Paul before his fight with Floyd Mayweather
- If a task is less than 3 minutes, do it instantly. If you can sense it will take you less than 3min to reply to an email, do so. No need to have this minor task dwelling in the back of your head for the entire day.
- If you break a commitment, just re-commit. No pity parties. Get back on the horse as soon as you fall.
- Focus on the highest leverage tasks & see if you can disregard the rest. It's the 80/20 principle in action! What's the 20% of activities that drive 80% of the results? Do those.
- Avoid the lottery mentality, the best reward comes from putting in slow & steady work over a long period of time. The tree that is slowest to grow, grows the best fruit.
- Make your actions as simple to follow as possible. Design your life to make it easy to win & hard to lose. This is how you win at life on automatic mode.
LOVE
- Make it a habit to just compliment someone for no reason. This shows you're not doing it to get validation, but instead, it shows you as the high-value person in the room. Giving without expectations works in your favor here.
- Leave people better than you found them.
- Keep your inner child alive & never let him die. The day he dies, you do too
- Train your imagination muscles daily. Follow your curiosity & start questioning everything. Google the answers to the questions in your mind. If you can't find answers to some, set the adventure to find it.
- Trust but verify.
- Don't force love & positivity if the other person doesn't like it. They will come to you when they're ready. Some people will never change and all you can do is move on from them in the meantime.
- Everyone is nervous. Everyone is second-guessing themselves. Everyone is going through something. Make the approach.
- Assume every woman/man is attracted to you. Confidence arises which helps you make the approach easier.
- Invite, don't ask out.
- Treat others how you want to be treated (or if possible, how they want to be treated).
LEADERSHIP
- Inspiring others is the highest priority as a leader.
- Show your followers what to do, don't tell them
- Your goal as a leader is to inspire by 1) Giving hope 2) Justifying their past failures 3) Encouraging their dreams & 4) Throwing rocks at their enemies
- You're no more special than your weakest follower. Have humility.
- The greatest teacher is also the greatest student. Never stop learning.
- STAY prepared so you don't have to GET prepared.
- Give your followers the equation, not the answer. Make them think and work for it.
- Be patient with your followers. Change can happen in a day or several decades. But you must never give up on them or lose hope.
- Forgive those that caused you harm, you don't need to hold those grudges. They're only weighing you down.
OPTIMISM
- It's better to be a delusional optimist than a realistic pessimist
- Society will tell you how the world is a bad place because that's how they profit off you. When you're sad, you eat fast food, crave cheap dopamine, & constant pleasure. The truth they don't want you to know: the world is thriving with you in it. An awakened man leaves the world a better place than he found it.
- "If you're complaining, criticizing, blaming, gossiping, and comparing, you can be pretty sure you're hanging out in Victimland — The unhappiest place on Earth." -Brian Johnson
- We are creation machines. When you start building something, you get excited for what the future has to come (optimism).
- You have the CHOICE to better your life. No one is stopping you.
- Your mind is a garden. You can plant seeds of negativity & grow big dark pessimistic trees. Or you can plant seeds of positivity to help you swing through life with the swing set your larger-than-life optimistic tree provides you with.
- Arguing with life isn't the way, my friend. Learn to accept & let go of what happens outside of your control. Use that same energy you would've used in being angry into being productive. Creation > Destruction
- Most negative people have learned helplessness. Reverse it by learning optimism.
- Hope for the best but plan for the worst.
ENERGY
- "The world belongs to the energetic." -Ralph Waldo Emerson
- Being jacked solves most of your problems. Do resistance training. Lift some heavy shit.
- Consuming isn't bad. We need both times to create & consume.
- Set a dedicated ON & OFF time. Meaning you set a time to show up & create every day at that same time. Same with stopping production. Set a dedicated time to put away all of the creating & do whatever you like. If you're ON all the time, you're quality decreases. But hey, try both routines to see which one works best for you.
- Take 1 step back to take 2 steps forward.
- Inspiration comes after taking action. Have the discipline to do the hard task for 10 minutes or 1 minute & watch how easy it gets to continue going. "An object in motion tends to stay in motion while an object at rest tends to stay at rest." -Sir Isaac Newton
- Meditate for mental health. Doing so acts as "Free Therapy." Just letting go of what arises in your mind while you sit there in silence. Letting all the negative thoughts & feelings come up and accepting it heals you.
WISDOM & HAPPINESS
- Say thank you to everything. Express gratitude for your blessings & your downfalls. Everything negative that happens to you happened for a reason you can't see why at the moment. Most negative events lead us to introspect & learn from our losses. It also gives us time to forgive & see the negative alternative that would've happened.
- Learn from others' mistakes.
- L's don't stand for "Losses", they stand for "Lessons."
- Act as if you already are it. As if you already have it.
- Surrender to life & let go of your desires.
- Growth occurs outside of your comfort zone
- Put a time to suffer in your schedule. Keeping a reference point of suffering will allow you to enjoy the pleasure even more. Habits like cold showers, working out, dopamine detoxing, etc.
- Hurt people hurt people. When you get your first haters, you will see that they don't really hate you, they hate themselves for not taking action. Don't take it personally.
- "What other people think about you says more about them than anything." -Brian Johnson
- "We tend to be most annoyed by people who are demonstrating qualities that we are still working on." -Brian Johnson
- To get what you want, you have to deserve it. Put in the work. Reward without sacrifice isn't valuable.
- Integrate & combine as many activities into one. Can you work out & do work at the same time? Can you listen to lectures while you drive & do less demanding tasks? If so, do it.
COURAGE
- "How will you ever be polished if you're bothered by every rub?"
- The feeling of fear is most times mistaken for "Excitement!"
- It's not the strongest species that survive the longest, it's the most adaptable.
- Pursue the truth. Even if it means ego-death (nothing bad will happen. Ego is imaginary. When you're ready to learn this, you'll know what I mean).
- With a strong enough WHY you can overcome any HOW.
PURPOSE
- Try everything at least once. If you're young (under 25), you probably won't know what your purpose is. And that's okay. Start experimenting with TONS of things. 5 years of experimentation is better than 5 years of constantly asking yourself what your purpose is. Try as many things as you can.
- Although I'm not saying you shouldn't spend time contemplating your purpose, you should ask yourself some fundamental questions like: "If I had all the time & money in the world, what would I be doing?" "What's something I like to do so much that I would PAY to do it?", "What do I want to be remembered for?"
- Begin with the end in mind. Ask yourself what you want to be remembered for. (TIP: your friends and family don't love you because of your accomplishments, they love you for your presence).
- Pain Now, Play Later. Play Now, Pain Later. Choose the path with the highest resistance
- Prioritize your purpose over your woman
- Your purpose & work should make you happier over a long period of time. If it doesn't, make a change.

🌟How To Gain 1 Million Subscribers In 2 Months
Hampton from the YouTube channel Hybrid Calisthenics gained 1 Million Subscribers in 2 months. He made a video on this specific topic I'd like to point out here.
- Focus on transformations rather than subs
- Don't make content to gain subs (The backwards law)
- Your channel and content are not about your journey, it's about the journey of your audience.
- Focus on gaining a deeper connection with your current viewers, not wide. Go deep, not wide. Hampton knew when his first 10 subs were sick & had family problems. Connect on that level!
- He sees himself as a servant.
- "The way you get to a million followers is to really truly deeply care about the 10 followers you currently have." -Hampton
- Post where there's a bunch of organic reach. TikTok, YT shorts, Twitter with retweets, IG reels, etc.
- Watch for feedback. Hampton thought he would be making videos for advanced lifters but his audience actually responded more to the beginner lifter.
- Hampton never wanted to come off relaxing or wholesome, he just turned on the camera and started talking. If you feel like you're not wholesome, don't worry about it. Just be you. More specifically, act like your highest self.
- "Everyone wants Hampton as a friend." -top YouTube Comment
Interesting Take: "When you lose your local centralized communities/religion, you look for counter culture and micro-niches. Use this opportunity to build your cult-like following." -Victoria Paris on the Colin & Samir Show
Bonus point that hit close to home: When you're attached to making something valuable for somebody, nobody will listen. We're surrounded by James clear articles where it's an endless stream of value. Content made for aliens to read. There's an infinite amount of threads on Twitter that you feel like you need to read but you really don't. 🌟How To Avoid Getting Manipulated
"What makes you emotional is what gets you manipulated." -random tweet I saw
🌟How To Persuade People
- Don't tell them what to think, tell them how to think.
- Be compelling, not convincing.
- Be indirect, not direct.
- Don't make them inactive participants, make them active ones and involved in the discussion.
- Sometimes you want to leave things out to leave room for interpretation intentionally. It's what Psychics do. They will say something that will apply to a certain type of people, but they leave just enough room for them to interpret and they naturally fill in the interpretation and makes them think "wow this person gets me so much!"

💞How I'm Currently Using Social Media & How I Would Design My Own App To Increase User Happiness
How I'm currently using Instagram: 1) Personal Account: As a "Social Portfolio." 2) Business Account: Content
- Post photos that show who are & what values you follow without saying them
- I've muted all my close friends & I'm avoiding checking their profiles until we met up again. I believe it's unhealthy to stalk your close friend's life & give superficial reactions to them with words & emojis. A funny thing happens when you meet up after a while of not checking their profile. The mystery of how they've been will start producing butterflies in your stomach which will prompt you to take action to DM them and set up a time to hang out again.
How I would design my app
- You unlock all the posts your friend has posted by meeting up with them IRL. Then 24hrs later you can't see any more of their future posts UNTIL the next time you guys meet.
- If they leave a certain amount of area (EX: leaving your state), you unlock all their posts even if you don't meet in person. But if they're in your area, their profile gets locked. (This may be taken out, I'm a little iffy on this still).
- WHY DESIGN IT LIKE THIS? This way you get dopamine from having to put in the effort & meeting them in person (opposed to now where we get trained to seek more likes & followers).
🌟How To Tell If Your Content Is Amazing
- Content is amazing if it passes the mute test: if you're still entertained even if you can't hear it, it passes.
Conclusion - See You Next Month! 👋
That's a wrap! I hope you got your values worth in this issue. As always, send me your feedback through email or Twitter! Let me know what topics you liked! What you want to see more of! How I can improve & make your experience reading each letter more enjoyable! Don't be shy and think I won't reply. I do (except for the people pitching me right off the bat lol).
Reminder: If we don't get more than 1,000 monthly subscribers by June 1st, 2022, I will stop creating these letters. Please don't let this happen! I love creating these & hope to continue creating more for your eyeballs
Ways you can help spread the word & help us get to 1,000 subscribers quicker:
- Word of mouth - tell your open-minded friends about this! Email them the digital PDF of any letter of their choice. Fuck it, send them your favorite letter for free. They will get hooked & choose to either subscribe then or not. Either way, they win.
- Leaving a 5-star review on Gumroad - If you love it, rate it! Review page: gum.co/posimistic
- Testimonials - I want to feature you in my marketing! Let me know how the letter has impacted your life! (Contact me via email or Twitter!)
